Crankshaft Pulley — Removal and Installation (SOHC, 16 Valves) (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

Removal

Remove the lower right timing belt guard.

After loosening the tension, remove the belt (1) of the power steering pump and air conditioning compressor drive.



After loosening the tension, remove the generator drive belt (2).

Using a special device, secure the engine crankshaft from turning and unscrew the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt (3).



Remove the crankshaft pulley washer (4).

Remove the pulley from the crankshaft (5).

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
