Disassembling the counter shaft





1. Remove the ball bearing (1).

1) Remove the ball bearing using special tool MD998801.



2. Remove the spring ring (2).

3. Remove the washer (3).

4. Remove the roller bearing (4).

5. Remove the inner ring (5).

1) Remove the washer and bearing.

2) Remove the inner ring using special tool MD998801 and MD998368.



6. Remove the counter shaft gear (6).



Assembling the counter shaft



1. Install the counter shaft gear (6).

2. Install the inner ring (5).

3. Install the roller bearing (4).

4. Install the washer (3).

1) Install the inner ring using special tool MD998812 and MD998818.

2) Install the roller bearing and washer.



5. Install the spring ring (2).

1) Install the thickest snap ring that can fit into the counter shaft gear groove.

2) Make sure that the axial clearance of the counter shaft pinion roller bearing is within the standard value.

Standard value: 0-0.08mm.



6. Install the ball bearing (1).

1) Install the ball bearing using special tool MD998812 and MD998818.
