Press the button on the end of the light switch lever once and a stream of cleaning fluid will be sprayed onto the headlights.
Note: Check the nozzles periodically to ensure that the washer fluid is being delivered to the headlights correctly
Precautions when using glass cleaners and washers
(1) If the wiper arms become blocked due to ice or dirt on the glass, the wiper motor may burn out even if the switch is in the OFF position. If the wipers become blocked, stop the vehicle in a safe place, turn off the ignition, and remove the obstruction from the glass so that the wipers can move freely.
(2) Do not operate the windshield wipers when the glass is dry. This may cause scratches on the glass and premature wear of the blades.
(3) Before turning on the windshield wipers in cold weather, check that the wiper blades are not frozen to the glass. Turning on the windshield wipers with frozen blades may cause the motor to overheat.
(4) Try not to operate the washers for more than 20 seconds continuously. Do not operate the washer when there is no fluid in the washer reservoir, as this may damage the washer pumps.
(5) Check the washer fluid level regularly and top up if necessary. If the low washer fluid indicator light comes on, fill the washer fluid reservoir as soon as possible. In cold weather, be sure to add antifreeze windshield washer fluid of the recommended concentration to the reservoir. Otherwise, the washer will not work and parts of the system may fail due to freezing of the washer fluid.
(6) When using the washers in cold weather, the washer fluid supplied to the glass may freeze on it, which will impair visibility. Before turning on the washers, warm the glass with a heater or using the forced ventilation system (heater).
