Windshield wipers
The windshield wipers can only be turned on when the ignition key is in the ON or ACC position. The windshield wipers are turned on by moving the steering column switch.
MIST - Dew removal function (single wiper operation); OFF - Disabled; INT - Intermittent operation mode; LO - Low speed; HI - High speed.
Adjusting the wiper frequency
1. Fast. 2. Slowly.
By turning the knob (A), you can change the interval of operation of the intermittent windscreen wiper within a range of approximately 2 to 18 seconds.
To increase the wiper interval, turn the knob in direction (2).
Removal moisture from glass

To operate the windshield wiper once, move the steering column switch in the direction of the arrow and release it.
This mode is convenient when driving in fog or drizzling rain. If you hold the lever in the raised position (MIST), the wiper will continue to operate until the lever is released.
Windshield washer

The windshield washer can only be turned on when the ignition key is in the ON or ACC position. To spray the washer fluid onto the windshield, pull the switch toward you. The windshield wiper operates automatically, making several strokes while spraying the cleaning fluid.
Caution: When using the washer in cold weather, the fluid that gets on the glass may freeze, which will reduce visibility. Before using the washer, warm up the glass by turning on the glass heating or blower mode to remove moisture.
Rear window wiper and washer
INT - The wiper operates continuously for a few seconds, then switches to intermittent operation at intervals of approximately 8 seconds. OFF - Off.
The rear window wiper and washer can be turned on when the ignition key is in the ON or ACC position. The rear window wiper and washer are turned on by turning the knob.
Note: To ensure good visibility behind the vehicle, the rear window wiper makes several continuous strokes both when the knob is turned to the INT position and when reverse gear is engaged (in a manual transmission) or by moving the automatic transmission selector to position R, if the windscreen wiper control handle is in the INT position at that moment. After that, the windscreen wiper automatically returns to intermittent operation mode.
Headlight washer switch (optional)

You can use the headlight washer when the headlights are on. The liquid is supplied to the headlight glass after pressing the button once.
Note:
- Check the headlight washers periodically to ensure that the fluid is being directed accurately to the headlight lenses.
- If the low washer fluid indicator light comes on, top up the washer fluid reservoir as soon as possible.
Precautions when using windshield wiper and washer
- If the wiper blades are blocked by ice, dirt, etc. on the glass, the wiper motor may fail even if the wiper switch is turned to the OFF position. If the wiper blades are stuck, stop the vehicle in a safe place, turn off the ignition, and clean the glass to ensure smooth wiper operation.
- Do not turn on the windshield wiper if the glass is dry. This may result in scratches on the glass or premature wear of the wiper blades.
- Before turning on the windshield wipers in cold weather, check that the blades are not frozen to the glass. If you turn on the windshield wiper with the brushes frozen to the glass, the electric motor may fail.
- Try not to turn on the washer for a long time (more than 20 seconds). Do not operate the washer if the washer fluid reservoir is empty. Otherwise, the electric motor may fail.
- Periodically check the fluid level in the washer reservoir and top up if necessary. In cold weather, fill the tank with a special antifreeze liquid. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in failure of the washer, as well as damage to system components due to freezing of the liquid.
Windscreen wiper heater switch (optional)

The windshield wiper heating can only be turned on when the ignition key is in the ON position. If the windshield wiper blades are frozen to the glass while the vehicle is parked, pressing this button turns on the windshield heating, which allows the blades to be released and the windshield wiper to be turned on. After pressing the button, the heater turns on and the indicator lamp (A) lights up.
Note: The heater will turn off automatically after about 15 minutes. To turn it off earlier, press the button again.
