1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the starter (see section 19).
3. Disconnect the large starter wire from the solenoid terminal.
4. Unscrew the screws securing the starter solenoid relay to the starter.
5. Remove the starter solenoid relay from the starter housing flange.

6. Install in reverse order.
