On 4-cylinder engines
Removal
1. Disconnect the hose from the filter.
2. Unscrew the wing nut.
3. Disconnect the latches.
4. Lift the lid.
5. Remove the filter element.
Replacement
Wipe the inside surface of the filter housing and replace the filter element, install all removed parts in reverse order.
On 6-cylinder engines
Removal
1. Disconnect the hose from the filter cover.
2. Disconnect the flow rate sensor connector. Disconnect the latches (indicated by arrows) air filter covers.
3. Remove the air filter cover with the sensor.
Replacement
Wipe the inside surface of the filter housing and replace the filter element, install all removed parts in reverse order.
