Checking the hatch for leaks (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

Check the tightness of the hatch using the following procedure.

1. Close the hatch glass completely.

2. Adjust the water pressure so that the water jet rises to a height of approximately 50 cm from the vertically placed hose.

3. Position the hose approximately 30 cm above the roof and spray the hatch seal with water for 5 minutes or more.

4. Check that there is no water leakage through the hatch seal into the vehicle interior.
