Removal the handle and lock of the luggage compartment door
1. Remove the upper trim of the luggage compartment door.
2. Remove the water-repellent film from the luggage compartment door.
3. Remove the lower inner tailgate bracket (1).
4. Remove the luggage compartment door washer (2).
5. Remove the luggage compartment door handle (3).
6. Remove the luggage compartment door handle cover (4).
7. Remove the trunk door lock cylinder (5).
8. Remove the luggage compartment door lock (6).
Installing the tailgate handle and lock
Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the tightening torques shown in the figure.
1. Install the luggage compartment door lock (6).
2. Install the trunk lid lock cylinder (5).
3. Install the luggage compartment door handle cover (4).
4. Install the luggage compartment door handle (3).
5. Install the luggage compartment door washer (2).
6. Install the lower inner tailgate bracket (1).
7. Install the water-repellent film on the luggage compartment door.
8. Install the upper trim of the luggage compartment door.
