Front doors



Removal



To remove the lock and door handle, follow these steps.

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the door trim.

3. Loosen the self-tapping screw and remove the inner door opening handle.

4. Remove the waterproof film.

5. Remove the lower rear glass guide 6 (Fig. 17.20).

6. Disconnect the rod from the front door lock handle.

7. Loosen the screw and remove the outer handle 3 of the door.

8. Remove cylinder 4 of the front door lock.

9. Unscrew the three screws and remove the door lock assembly 5.

10. If necessary, remove the electronic control unit of the door lock system (vehicles with central door locking, except for vehicles equipped with a remote door lock control system) (Fig. 17.21).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

1. Check the stroke of the inner door handle.

2. Install the door trim.

3. Adjust the door installation.

Rear doors



Removal



To remove the lock and door handle, follow these steps.

1. Remove the door trim.

2. Loosen the self-tapping screw and remove the inner door opening handle.

3. Remove the waterproof film.

4. Disconnect the rods from the rear door lock handle.

5. Loosen the screw and remove the outer handle 4 (Fig. 17.22) of the door.

6. Unscrew the three screws and remove the door lock assembly 6.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

1. Check the stroke of the inner door handle.



2. Install the door trim.

3. Adjust the door installation.
