Removal
To remove the rear door lock, follow these steps.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the lower trim of the trunk lid.

3. Unscrew the three bolts and remove the lock 7 (Fig. 17.32) of the trunk lid.
4. Remove the drive 2 of the trunk lid lock.
5. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the bracket 1 of the trunk lid lock drive.
6. Unscrew the three bolts and remove the support bracket of the lock cylinder 7 of the trunk lid.

7. Press the clamp tab to move it in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig. 17.33 and remove the clamp.
8. Rotate the trunk lid lock cylinder trim clockwise until it stops. Then remove the trim.
9. Remove cylinder 4 of the trunk lid lock.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following: before installing the lock, lubricate the moving parts of the lock with consistent grease.
