Disassembly
To disassemble the hatch, perform the following operations.
1. Remove the hatch.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sunroof electronic control unit (see Fig. 17.35).
3. Loosen the screws and remove the interior light bracket.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector, unscrew the screws and remove the electric motor 2 (Fig. 17.40) of the sunroof drive.
5. Remove upholstery 10.
6. Remove glass 9 from the hatch cover.
7. Loosen the screws and remove the curved profile 8 of the hatch panel.
8. Loosen the screws and remove the wind deflector (fairing) 5 as an assembly.
9. Loosen the screws and remove the drainage channel 17 as an assembly.

10. Loosen the screw and remove the retainer 20.
11. Loosen the screw and remove the rear stop 14.
12. Remove curtain 11.
13. Remove sliders 12.
14. Remove spring 13.
15. Remove the limiter 15 of the drive mechanism.
16. Loosen the screws and remove the front guide 6.
17. Remove latch 7.
18. Remove the rear guide 18.
19. Remove the rear guide drive 19.
20. Disconnect and remove the 4 drive cable.
21. Loosen the screws and remove guide 16.
22. Remove the outer seal 21 of the tray.
23. Remove the weld tray 22 as an assembly.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
1. When installing, lubricate the drive cable, rear guide, rear guide drive and curved profile of the hatch panel with grease.
