Removal
To remove the rear door trim, perform the following steps.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Using a thin plastic or wooden plate, remove the clips from the door panel and remove the upper trim 1 (Fig. 17.26) of the rear door.
3. Remove trim stop 2 from the rear door.
4. Using a thin plastic or wooden plate, remove the clips from the door panel and remove the side trim 3 of the rear door.
5. Remove the hinge 5 for lowering the rear door assembly.
6. Remove the screws, then use a thin plastic or wooden plate to pry the clips out of the door panel and remove the lower trim 4 of the rear door.
7. Remove cover 6 of the hatch.
