Removal
To remove the rear door lock, follow these steps.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the lower trim of the rear door.

3. Unscrew the three bolts and remove lock 5 (Fig. 17.27) of the rear door.
4. Remove the rear door lock drive 2.
5. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the bracket 1 of the rear door lock drive.
6. Remove the rear door lock cylinder cover 3.
7. Remove the rear door lock cylinder 5.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
1. Before installing the lock, lubricate the moving parts of the lock with consistent grease.
2. Install the rear door lower trim.
