Removal the rear towing rod



Note: The operations for the right side of the vehicle are the same as those for the left side of the vehicle.




1. Loosen the towing rod mounting bolt to the steering knuckle (1).

2. Unscrew the fastening nut of the towing rod to the suspension frame (2).

3. Remove the limiter (3).

4. Remove the towing rod (4).

Installing a rear towing bar



Caution: * Indicates parts that must be pre-tightened and then finally tightened with the unloaded vehicle on its wheels on a level, horizontal surface.


Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the torques shown in the figure.


Note: Use a new lock nut.


1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Caution: Tighten the bolts only when the wheels are in full contact with the ground.


2. Check and adjust wheel alignment angles if necessary.
