If dents, cracks, deformation or corrosion are found on the housing of the SRS electronic control unit, replace the unit with a new one and dispose of the old one. After the airbags have deployed, replace the SRS electronic control unit with a new one. Never use an ohmmeter in the area where the SRS electronic control unit is located, use only special measuring devices.
