Fuel, coolant, oil and exhaust leaks
Look under the vehicle body and check for fuel, coolant, oil, or exhaust leaks.
Do not operate the vehicle if there is a suspected fuel leak or if you smell fuel. Contact an authorized Mitsubishi service center or try to determine and correct the problem using the instructions provided in previous chapter of this Guide.
Performance of external and internal lighting devices
Turn on the combination light switch to check the operation of all lights.
If the lights do not turn on, this may indicate that the fuse has blown or the bulb is faulty. Check the fuses first. If no blown fuses are found, check the bulbs.
Operation of control and measuring instruments and control lamps
Start the engine and check the operation of all control instruments and warning lights.
If any faults are detected, it is recommended that you have your vehicle checked at an authorized Mitsubishi service center.
Lubrication of hinges and locks
Check all locks and hinges and lubricate them with a general purpose grease if necessary, after cleaning them first.
