1. Measure the resistance of all high-tension spark plug wires.
2. Check for cracking of the caps and damage to the insulation of the high-voltage spark plug wires.
3. Measure the resistance of the high-voltage spark plug wires.
Limit value: maximum 10 kOhm
Checking and cleaning spark plugs
1. Remove the high-tension spark plug wires.
Caution: When removing the spark plug high tension wires from the spark plugs, pull on the spark plug wire tip, not the wire.
2. Remove the spark plugs.
3. Check the spark plugs for burnt electrodes and damaged insulators. Check for uniform burnout.

4. Remove carbon deposits from spark plugs using a steel brush or spark plug cleaning device. After cleaning, remove sand from the spark plug threads with compressed air.
5. Using a special round feeler gauge, measure the gap between the spark plug electrodes and check that it matches the nominal value.
Nominal value: 0.7 - 0.8 mm
If the gap value deviates from the nominal value, adjust it by bending the side electrode.
6. Clean the spark plug holes in the cylinder head.
7. Install the spark plugs in place.
Caution: Do not allow foreign particles to enter the cylinders.
