The system consists of two ignition coils with built-in power transistors for cylinders No. 1, 4, 6 and No. 2, 3, 5, respectively. An interruption in the primary winding circuit of ignition coil A generates a high voltage in its secondary winding. When high voltage is applied to the spark plug electrodes of cylinders No. 1, 4 and 6, spark discharges occur, one of which ignites the fuel-air mixture in the combustion chamber of the cylinder in the compression phase (in the other cylinder at this time - the exhaust phase of the mixture). In the same way, when the primary winding circuit of ignition coil B is interrupted, spark discharges are formed in cylinders No. 2, 3 and 5. The electronic engine control unit controls two power transistors (which break the circuits of the primary windings of the ignition coils), turning them on and off alternately. This allows the ignition coils and ensures the order of operation of cylinders 1 - 2- 3- 4- 5-6. The electronic engine control unit using the crankshaft position sensor (Crank Angle Sensor) determines the angular position of the crankshaft and ensures the optimal ignition timing angle depending on the engine operating mode. When operating a vehicle in high altitude areas (at high altitude) or when driving on a cold engine, the ignition timing is slightly increased to ensure optimal engine operation. In addition, when detonation occurs, the ignition timing angle is gradually reduced until detonation stops.
