Examination
- Before checking, make sure the radiator cap is clean and free of contaminants, as rust or other foreign matter on the cap seal may cause the pressure gauge to read incorrectly.
- To attach the radiator cap to the radiator cap tester, use the special adapter (pic. 5.2).

- Increase the pressure until the gauge needle stops
Rated opening pressure of the main valve: 75-105 kPa
Minimum opening pressure of the main valve: 65 kPa
- Make sure the valve opens and closes within the specified limits.
- Replace the radiator cap if the valve opens and closes beyond the specified limits.
