- Drain the coolant from the radiator by unscrewing the coolant drain plug from the radiator and then the radiator cap.
- Unscrew the drain plug on the cylinder block and drain the coolant from the engine (Fig. 5.3, 5.4).

- Remove the expansion tank and drain the coolant from it.
- Apply sealant ЗМ Nut Locking Part # 4171 to the threads of the cylinder block coolant drain plug, screw the plug in and tighten to a torque of 39 N·m
- Tighten the radiator coolant drain plug securely.
- Install the expansion tank.
- Loosen the bolt to remove air from the cooling system and replace the sealing gasket (Fig. 5.5).

- Pour coolant into the radiator until it starts to flow out of the cooling system bleed bolt hole, then tighten the bolt.
- Slowly pour coolant into the radiator to the base of the filler neck, and fill the expansion tank to the FULL mark. Coolant capacity: 6 l.
- Tighten the radiator cap securely.
- Start the engine and warm it up until the thermostat opens. To check, touch the radiator hose with your hand, it should be warm.
- After the thermostat opens, press the accelerator pedal several times and then turn off the engine,
- Let the engine cool down and add coolant to the expansion tank up to the FULL mark. If the coolant level is low, repeat the steps described in the last 4 points.
