18.1 Turbocharger Elements
1. Heat shields; 2. Gasket; 3. Bypass valve; 4. Vacuum hose; 5. Turbocharger; 6. Oil supply pipe; 7. Return line hose
1. Remove the heat shields (18.1).
2. Disconnect the return line hose from the oil pan.
3. Disconnect the oil hose from the turbocharger and oil filter bracket.
4. Unscrew the air supply hose bolt.
5. Disconnect the remaining hoses and wires from the turbocharger.
6. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the turbocharger from the exhaust manifold.
7. Fill the compressor with clean engine oil.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Do not forget to install a new gasket.
