Removal
1. Turn off SRS (see Section Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) - General Information and Precautions)/disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Warning! If the car stereo system is equipped with a security code, make sure you have the correct combination to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
2. Remove the center section of the instrument panel trim.
Note: Some models use screws to secure the trim, while others require a suitable plastic tool to pry the lower section free.
3. Remove the screws securing the car radio/CD player assembly.
4. Release the radio assembly from the vehicle's instrument panel and disconnect the electrical wiring and antenna cable from it.
Note: It makes sense to mark the wiring with tape before disconnecting.
5. Remove the mounting frame from the radio assembly.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - ensure that the electrical wiring and antenna cable are connected correctly and securely.
2. Connect the negative cable to the battery and check the audio system for proper operation.
