Remove the brake fluid reservoir cover and filter, disconnect the brake fluid level indicator wire connector, check the conductivity between the indicator connector contacts; conductivity should be present when the float rises. Suck out the brake fluid with a syringe, check the conductivity between the contacts of the brake fluid level indicator connector; after the float has lowered, conductivity should be present.
