Removal



1. Remove the front door trim.

2. Using a screwdriver blade as a lever, remove the inner delta cover 1 (Fig. 17.53).

3. Loosen the screw and remove the frame 2 of the inner delta cover.

4. Remove the outer delta cover 3.

5. Loosen the screw and remove the mirror control handle.

6. Loosen the two screws and remove the side rearview mirror housing 4 and gasket 6.

7. Turn the mirror by hand so that its reflective surface is facing up, insert the blade of a flat screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape into the recess as shown in Fig. 17.54, pry the mirror up and remove it.

8. If the vehicle is equipped with an electric mirror, disconnect electrical connector 7 (see Fig. 17.53) of the wiring harness.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
