Repair of the front bumper of cars manufactured since 1995



Disassembly



1. Remove the bumper from the car.

2. Remove the outer lining 1 (Fig. 17.43) of the radiator.

3. Remove the rims 3 and inner grilles 2 from the outer radiator trim.

4. Unscrew three screws and remove the front fog lights 5.

5. Unscrew the screws from the bottom of the bumper and remove the front bumper reinforcement 4.

6. Loosen the screws and remove the 6 front fog light covers.

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.

Disassembly



1. Remove the bumper from the car.

2. Loosen the screws and remove the right 1 and left 2 radiator grilles (Fig. 17.44).

3. Release the clips and remove the bumper cover 10.

4. Unscrew 3 screws and remove the front fog lights 6.

5. Unscrew the screws from the lower and upper sides of the bumper and remove the front bumper reinforcement 4.

6. On vehicles with diesel engines, unscrew the four bolts and remove the dynamic damper 5.

7. Remove insert 3.

8. Loosen the screws and remove the covers 9 of the front fog lights.

9. Remove the lower radiator grille 7.

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
