Caution: Before removing the air bag module and clock spring, observe the safety precautions when servicing the SRS system.
Removal
1. Remove the steering column switch with built-in windshield wiper and washer switch, as well as the wiper relay.

2. Disconnect and remove washer hose 4 (Fig. 17.47).
3. Remove the washer nozzles 3.
4. Remove the caps from the nuts, unscrew the nuts 2 and remove the arms 1 of the wipers and the windshield wiper blades as an assembly.
5. Loosen the screws by pulling upwards, release the clips and remove the windshield wiper panel trim 5.
6. Loosen the windshield wiper motor mounting bolts, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the motor 8 as an assembly. Disconnect the levers from the motor and remove the lever mechanism 7.
Attention! It is not recommended to disassemble the lever mechanism and electric motor assembly unless absolutely necessary, as they are installed at a certain angle during assembly. If disassembly is necessary, apply appropriate installation marks in advance.
7. Drain the windshield washer fluid.
8. Remove the front bumper.
9. Disconnect washer hoses 13 from the windshield washer motors.
10. Loosen the screws and remove the windshield washer reservoir 12.
11. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the windshield washer motors 10 from the reservoir.
12. Remove the windshield washer fluid level sensor 11 from the reservoir.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
1. The movements of the left and right windshield wiper arms are different, so when installing them, take into account their position according to the installation marks.

2. Set the windscreen wiper blades to the position shown in Fig. 17.48.
