Resistance between ABS connector contacts on the wiring harness side (Mitsubishi Carisma)

1. Before checking the circuit condition and resistance, turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and disconnect the connector from the ABS control unit.

2. Check the resistance of the wheel speed sensors by measuring it between contacts 1 and 2 (Fig. 14.45), 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 9. The resistance for all sensors should be 1.28–1.92 kOhm. Also check that connector contacts 26 and 40 are connected to ground.
