1. Remove the gear shift knob and center console

2. Remove the lower air duct and loosen the lever bracket nuts if necessary.

3. Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.

4. Unscrew the bolt and disconnect the extension rod from the gearbox (2.4a and 2.4b).

5. Remove the wire from the set screw, unscrew the screw and unscrew the shift rod from the gearbox.

6 Remove the heat shield if necessary.

7. Remove the extension and switching rod.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

9. Remove the gearshift knob and center console. Check that the gearshift lever and the levers on the gearbox are in neutral. Remove the pins and clamps and disconnect the cables from the levers (2.9a and 2.9b).

10. Unscrew the bolts and nuts and remove the cable fasteners.

11. In the engine compartment, remove the checks and clamps and disconnect the cables from the gearbox.

12. Remove the cables.

Installation





2.13a Cable fastening elements to the gear shift lever - lever B must be in the neutral position

1. Shift cable; 2. Gear selection cable; 3. Beveled side of the bushing; 4. Lever B




2.13b Adjust the length of the cable by turning the nuts

13. Connect the cables to the lever (2.13a and 2.13b), checking that it is in the neutral position.

14. Connect the cables to the gearbox and install the fasteners.



2.15 Distances A and B on both sides of the gearshift lever must be the same

15. After installation, the distance A and B on both sides of the gear shift lever should be the same (2.15). If not, adjust the cable length.
