The driver's airbag is located under a cover in the steering wheel. The passenger's airbag is located in the instrument panel above the glove box. The airbags only deploy in the event of a severe frontal collision.

Airbag warning light

There is an airbag indicator light on the instrument panel. When you turn the ignition key to the "ON" or "START" position, the indicator light should come on for approximately 7 seconds and then go out. This means that the airbags are working properly and are ready to operate.
