Front sensor rotors
Removing
1. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
2. Remove the corresponding wheel.
3. Remove the wheel sensor and, without disconnecting the wiring from it, tie it aside to the suspension elements (do not forget to release the wiring from the intermediate clamps).
Attention! Do not allow the protruding sensor to come into contact with the teeth of the rotor!
4. Remove assembly of a forward nave with a rotary fist.
5. Remove the hub from the steering knuckle.
6. Clamp the hub in a vice with soft jaws, unscrew the fixing bolts and remove the wheel sensor rotor from the assembly.
Installation
1. Install the new rotor on the hub assembly. Screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them with the required force (10 Nm).
2. Install the hub on the steering knuckle.
3. Establish assemblage of a rotary fist with a nave on the regular place.
4. Install the wheel sensor.
5. Install the wheel.
6. Lower the vehicle to the ground.

Installation
1. Install the new rotor on the hub assembly. Screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them with the required force (10 Nm).
2. Install the hub assembly in its regular place and secure it with the central nut, tightening the latter with the required force (200÷260 Nm). Align the nut with the fit mark and lock.
3. Install the wheel sensor.
4. Install the wheel.
5. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
Galant AWD Models
Removing
1. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
2. Remove the corresponding wheel.
3. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the caliper.
4. Remove the wheel sensor assembly with the sealing ring and, without disconnecting the electrical wiring from it, tie it aside to the suspension elements (do not forget to release the wiring from the intermediate clamps).
Attention! Do not allow the protruding sensor to come into contact with the teeth of the rotor!
5. Remove the brake caliper and disc.
6. Give three bolt couples of fastening of the external end of a power shaft to a connecting flange.
7. Take the shaft aside and tie it with wire.
8. Give a fixing nut on the back end of a cardan shaft, remove a washer. Block the hub from turning with the special tool MB9g67.
9. Remove the connecting flange from the steering knuckle assembly.
10. Using a puller bolted to the wheel studs, remove the axle shaft assembly.
11. Install the drive shaft on the press (MB9e60), firmly resting the gear wheel of the rotor in the thrust plate.
12. While squeezing the press, remove the rotor.
Installation
1. Press the rotor onto the axle shaft (groove towards the flange).
2. Fill a power shaft in a rotary fist and establish into place a connecting flange.
37 Fit the lock washer and thread a new hub nut onto the shaft stub. Tighten the nut to the required torque (160÷220 Nm).
3. Turn the shaft into its regular position and fix it with bolt pairs, tightening the nuts of the latter with the required force (61 Nm).
4. Reinstall the brake disc and caliper.
5. Install the wheel sensor - do not forget to replace the O-ring.
6. Connect the parking brake cable to the caliper.
7. Install the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.
