Rear compartment cover





1. Inner seal; 2. External seal; 3. Clamping bar; 4. Buffer; 5. Spare wheel holder; 6. Connector; 7. Closing limiter; 8. Hinge bolt; 9. Lid; 10. Cotter pin; 11, 12. Loops; 13. Lid opening limiter; 14. Retainer; 15. Gasket; 16. Buffer cover; 17. Buffer mating socket; 18. Bracket


Removal and installation



Attention! Work is performed by two people.


1. Remove the spare tire and wheel carrier.

2. Remove the rear cover opening trim.

3. Remove the rear belt tensioner cover (if belts are provided).

4. Remove the speaker (on 4-door bodies).

5. Remove the rear bottom panel.

6. Remove the rear pillar trim.

7. Remove the lid stop pin and axle.

8. Disconnect the washer hose.

9. Disconnect the wires from the back cover.

10. Trace the contours of the hinges, unscrew the hinge bolts on the lid and remove the lid.

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

12. Tighten all fasteners to the required torques.
