Air Conditioner Switch (1983-91)

On 1992-98 vehicles, the air conditioner switch is mounted on the heater control panel (for removal, see. in the subsection 13.11.3).
Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Loosen the screws and remove the lower air duct under the storage box.
3. Remove the handles from the control panel levers.
4. Remove the storage box by pressing the latches.
5. Remove the plugs from the center trim, unscrew the screws and remove the trim.
6. Disconnect the control panel wire connector.
7. Disconnect the switch connector through the opening in the storage box.
8. Loosen the screws and remove the switch.
