Attention! Disassemble the capacitor connections without applying significant force, tighten them without exceeding the specified torque. Replace the sealing rings during assembly.
Cars with 2.6 and 3.0 L engines (12-valve)
1. Depressurize the refrigerant line at a car service center.
Single stage air conditioner
2. Remove the front grille.
3. Carefully unscrew the fittings on the capacitor. On V6 engines there are 3 connections on the right and 4 connections on the left. On a 2.6L engine, disconnect the line at the condenser and disconnect the water separator.
4. Loosen the bolts and remove the moisture separator.
5. Remove the condenser fan.
6. Loosen the bolt and remove the capacitor.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
8. Tighten the fittings to a torque of 24 Nm.
Two-stage air conditioner (with 2 condensers in the cooling circuit)
9. Remove the front grille of the vehicle.
10. Carefully unscrew the tube fittings on the condensers and on the opposite side, unscrew the bolts and remove the moisture separator.
11. Remove the condenser fan.
12. Unscrew the bolt on the opposite side of the moisture separator and remove the condenser.
13. Disconnect the connector from the auxiliary fan, unscrew the bolts and remove the second capacitor.
14. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
15. Replace the sealing rings of the fittings.
16. Tighten the fittings to a torque of 24 Nm.
Cars with 3.0L engines (24-valve) and 3.5 l
1. Depressurize the refrigerant line at a car service center.
2. Disconnect the battery from ground.
3. Remove the front grille from the vehicle.
4. Remove the hood lock bracket.
5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler bolts.
6. Unscrew the oil radiator bolts and remove the bracket.
7. Unscrew the condenser mounting bolts.
8. Disconnect the high pressure pipe on the condenser and dryer.
9. Remove the moisture separator and bracket.
10. Remove the condenser fan.
11. Disconnect the upper high pressure hose on the condenser.

12. Remove the capacitor and take out the seals.

14. Replace the sealing rings of the fittings.
