1. Remove the cover by releasing the latches or unscrewing the screws.
2. Check the condition of the lid (presence of cracks, traces of puncture, etc.).
3. Remove the runner (on some cars the runner is secured with a screw) and take a look.
Replace the worn runner (it is prohibited to clean contacts).
4. Check the condition of the high-voltage wires, replace if necessary, removing and installing each wire separately.
5. Install all parts in reverse order.
