Cars 1983-86.



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Remove the selector handle by pressing the button and releasing the screws.

3. Remove the center section, unscrew the screws and remove the selector position indicator.

4. Disconnect the connector from the switch, unscrew the screws and remove the switch from the selector.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

6. Adjust the position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).

Cars 1987-89.



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Remove the floor section, selector handle and selector position indicator.

3. Disconnect the connector from the switch, remove the screws and remove the switch from the bracket.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

5. Adjust the position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).

Cars 1990-98.



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Raise the car.

3. Move the selector to position N.

4. Disconnect the drive cable from the switch (on the transmission).

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

7. Adjust the position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).
