Removal the front seats



Caution: On vehicles equipped with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), before removing the front seats, see Chapter 20 - Precautions and Airbag Module.




1. Remove the seat heating switch (model with seat heating device) (1).

2. Remove the headrest (2).

3. Remove the front seat mounting cover (3).

4. Remove the front seat assembly (4).

Installing the front seats



Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the tightening torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the front seat assembly (4).

2. Install the front seat mounting cover (3).

3. Install the headrest (2).

4. Set the seat heating device switch (model with seat heating device) (1).

Note: Install all front seat mounting nuts and bolts first, and then tighten them to the recommended torque.


1) Tighten the bolts shown in the illustration before placing any load on the seat cushion.






Disassembling the front seats





1. Remove the seat back tilt adjustment button (models with electric seat) (1).

2. Remove the seat movement button (models with electric seat) (2).

3. Remove the electric drive switch cover (models with electric seat) (3).

4. Remove the electric drive switch (models with electric seat) (4).

5. Remove the clamp (models with dual seat height adjustment device) (5).

6. Remove the seat height adjustment button (models with dual seat height adjustment device) (6).

7. Remove the seat back tilt adjustment lever (models without electric seat drive) (7).

8. Remove the wiring clamp (8).

9. Remove the front seat cushion assembly (9).

10. Remove the front seat cushion cover (10).

11. Remove the front seat heating device (models with front seat heating device) (11).

12. Remove the front seat cushion (12).

13. Remove the front seat cushion frame (13).

14. Remove the side protective cover (14).

15. Remove the front sliding rack cover (15).

16. Remove the seat canopy cover (16).

17. Remove the rear sliding rail cover (17).

18. Remove the side cover of the seat adjustment device (18).

19. Remove the inner side cover of the seat travel adjustment device (19).



20. Remove the front seat belt catch (20).

21. Remove the front seat back assembly (21).

22. Remove the headrest guide (22).

23. Remove the front seat back cover (23).

24. Remove the seat back heating device (models with front seat heating device) (24).

25. Remove the seat back cushion (25).

26. Remove the seat back frame (models without side airbag) (26).

27. Remove the rear panel of the front seat back (27).

28. Remove the lower cover of the seat backrest tilt adjustment device (28).

29. Remove the front seat frame (models without electric drive) (29).

30. Remove the seat travel adjustment device (30).

31. Remove the seat travel adjustment lever (models without electric drive) (31).

Assembling the front seats



Note: When assembling, tighten the bolts to the tightening torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the seat travel adjustment device lever (models without electric drive) (31).

2. Install the seat movement adjustment device (30).

3. Install the front seat frame (models without electric drive) (29).

4. Install the lower cover of the seat back tilt adjustment device (28).

5. Install the rear panel of the front seat back (27).

6. Install the seat back frame (models without side airbag) (26).

7. Install the seat back cushion (25).

8. Install the seat back heating device (models with front seat heating device) (24).

9. Install the front seat back cover (23).

10. Install the headrest guide (22).

11. Install the front seat back assembly (21).

12. Install the front seat belt catch (20).

13. Install the inner side cover of the seat travel adjustment device (19).



14. Install the side cover of the seat adjustment device (18).

15. Install the rear sliding rail cover (17).

16. Install the seat canopy cover (16).

17. Install the front sliding rack cover (15).

18. Install the side protective cover (14).

19. Install the front seat cushion frame (13).

20. Install the front seat cushion (12).

21. Install the front seat heating device (models with front seat heating device) (11).

22. Install the front seat cushion cover (10).

23. Install the front seat cushion assembly (9).

24. Install the wiring clamp (8).

25. Install the seat backrest tilt adjustment lever (models without electric seat drive) (7).

26. Install the seat height adjustment button (models with dual seat height adjustment device) (6).

27. Install the clamp (models with dual seat height adjustment device) (5).

28. Install the electric drive switch (models with electric seat) (4).

29. Install the electric drive switch cover (models with electric seat) (3).

30. Install the seat movement button (models with electric seat) (2).

31. Install the seat backrest tilt adjustment button (models with electric seat) (1).
