Removal the heater and fan unit (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Drain the coolant.

2. Drain the refrigerant from the system.

3. Remove the floor console assembly.

4. Remove the rear heater air duct.

5. Remove the instrument panel assembly.

6. Remove the brake booster buzzer.

7. Remove the anti-lock brake system control unit.

8. Remove the engine control unit.

9. Remove the SRS control unit.

10. Remove the side hood cover.

11. Remove the battery.

12. Remove the engine cover.

13. Unscrew the fuel filter mounting bolt.

14. Remove the lower engine crankcase guard.

15. Remove the engine exhaust gas recirculation system.



16. Remove the suction flexible hose (1).

19. Remove drain pipe B (2).

20. Remove the sealing ring (3).

21. Remove the heater hose clamp (4).

22. Disconnect the heater hose connection (5).

23. Remove the floor air duct (6).

24. Remove the floor air duct B (7).

25. Remove the floor air duct D (8).

26. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors.

Note: Disconnect the following connectors to remove the front cross member.

28. Remove the fan assembly (10).

29. Remove the drain hose (11).

30. Remove the heater unit assembly (12).
