Precautions when working with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) components (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)
In order to avoid a malfunction of the SRS system, which may increase the risk of injury or death as a result of a traffic accident that requires the airbag to be activated, any maintenance work on the system should only be carried out at specialized service stations. Special care must be taken when working with components associated with the additional passive safety system (for example, when removing the steering wheel), strictly follow the instructions given in this Manual. Improper maintenance practices, including improper removal and installation of SRS components, may result in injury due to unexpected activation of the system.
