1. Install the coolant pipe gasket from the cylinder head (16).
2. Install the coolant pipe from the cylinder head (15).
3. Install the heater connecting pipe (14).
4. Install the sealing ring (13).
5. Install the water pump inlet hose (12).
6. Install the heater connecting pipe (11).
7. Install the sealing ring (10).
8. Install the coolant outlet pipe (9).
9. Install the coolant hose connection (8).
10. Install the coolant hose connection (7).
11. Install the water pump inlet connection gasket (6).
12. Install the water pump inlet connection (5).
13. Install the thermostat housing gasket (4).
14. Install the outlet hose connection and thermostat housing assembly (3).
15. Install the coolant hose (2).
16. Install the coolant hose (1).
17. Install the thermostat.
18. Install the upper radiator hose.
19. Install the intake manifold.
20. Fill with coolant.
Model with 4M4 engine
1. Install the sealing ring (29).
Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.
2. Install the thermostat housing (28).
3. Install the wiring bracket (27).
4. Install the sealing ring (26).
Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.
5. Install the sealing ring (25).
Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.
6. Install the tube (24).
7. Install the heater return pipe (23).
8. Install the turbocharger assembly and exhaust manifold assembly.
9. Install the heater hose connection (22).
10. Install the sealing ring (21).
Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.
11. Install the EGR coolant inlet pipe (20).
12. Install the EGR coolant inlet hose (19).
13. Install the gasket (18).
14. Install the coolant inlet pipe (17).
15. Install the gasket (16).
16. Install the turbocharger coolant outlet hose (15).
17. Install the vacuum tube assembly (14).
18. Install the vacuum hose connection (13).
19. Install the vacuum hose connection (12).
20. Install the sealing ring (11).
Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.
21. Install the EGR coolant outlet hose (10).
22. Install the EGR coolant outlet hose (9).
23. Install the gasket (8).
24. Install the coolant outlet hose (7).
25. Install the coolant temperature sensor (6).
Tightening torque: 30±9 Nm.
Note: When installing the coolant temperature sensor, use the special key MB992042.
26. Connect the coolant temperature sensor connector (5).
27. Install the coolant temperature measuring device (4).
28. Connect the coolant temperature measuring instrument connector (3).
29. Connect the coolant hose (2).
30. Connect the upper radiator hose connection (1).
31. Fill with coolant.
32. Install the engine cover.
