Model with 6G7 engine



1. Install the thermostat housing gasket (15).

2. Install the thermostat housing (14).

3. Install the water pump inlet connection gasket (13).

4. Install the water pump inlet connection (12).

5. Install the sealing ring (11).

6. Install the water pump gasket (10).

7. Install the water pump assembly (9).

8. Install the coolant outlet hose gasket (8).

9. Install the sealing ring (7).

10. Install the coolant outlet hose (6).

11. Install the coolant outlet connection bracket (5).

12. Install the coolant temperature sensor (4).

Note: When installing the coolant temperature sensor, use the special key MB992042.


13. Install the coolant temperature sensor connector (3).

14. Install the cooling hose connection (2).

15. Install the cooling hose connection (1).

16. Install the drive belt.

17. Connect the lower radiator hose.

18. Fill with coolant.

Model with 4M4 engine



1. Install the sealing ring (5).

Note: Apply soap-based lubricant to the O-ring before installing it.

3. Install the cooling fan pulley (3).

4. Install the plate (2).

5. Install the alternator drive belt (1).

6. Install the cooling fan.

7. Install the air conditioner drive belt.

8. Fill with coolant.

9. Check and adjust the tension of the air conditioner drive belt.
