Alternator (model with 6G7 engine) (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

Removal the alternator

1. Remove the lower support plate and engine crankcase guard.

2. Remove the air filter assembly.

3. Remove the drive belt.

4. Disconnect the generator connector (1).

5. Remove the generator assembly (2).

Installing an alternator

1. Install the generator assembly (2).

2. Connect the generator connector (1).

3. Install the drive belt.

4. Check the drive belt tension.

5. Install the air filter assembly.

6. Install the lower support plate and engine crankcase guard.
