Drain
Open the oil filler cap.
Unscrew the oil-drain bolt-plug on the oil sump and drain the oil from the engine into the prepared container.
The presence of metal filings in the drained oil indicates damage to, for example, crankshaft bearings or connecting rods. After repairing the engine, flush the oil channels well.
Unscrew the oil filter located in front of the engine compartment.
Fill
Tighten the drain plug with a force of 40 Nm.
Lubricate the O-ring surface with a small amount of clean engine oil (1) new filter.
Screw on a new oil filter that matches the vehicle model by hand. After the oil filter gasket is in contact with the engine block, tighten the filter another half turn with a tightening torque of 15 Nm.
Fill in new oil through the oil filler neck on the cylinder head. Check the engine oil level with an oil dipstick.
It is necessary to fill in 1/2 l less oil, warm up the engine and after a few minutes check the oil level with an oil dipstick and top up if necessary. Suck off excess oil.
Check the tightness of the drain bolt-plug of the oil filter, if necessary, carefully tighten.
After stopping the warm engine, check the oil level again, correct if necessary.
It is recommended that when replacing, constantly fill in the oil of the same type and the same brand.
