Note: When installing, tighten all bolts to the torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the intake manifold gasket (49).

2. Install the intake manifold (48).

3. Connect the lubrication system tube connection (47).

4. Install the high pressure hose, fuel distribution pipe and injector assembly (46).

5. Connect the injector connector (45).

6. Connect the coolant line hose connection (44).

7. Connect the coolant line hose connection (43).

8. Connect the high pressure fuel hose connector (42).

9. Install the wiring bracket (41).

10. Install the gasket P of the intake manifold rotary valve (40).

11. Install the intake manifold rotary valve gasket S (39).

12. Install the air inlet equalizing tank (38).

13. Install the expansion tank gasket (37).

14. Install the expansion tank (36).

15. Install the equalizing tank stand (35).

18. Install the engine exhaust gas recirculation tube gasket (34).

17. Install the engine exhaust gas recirculation tube assembly (33).

18. Install the fuel vapor recovery system tube (32).

19. Connect the positive crankcase ventilation hose connector (31).

20. Install the fuel vapor recovery system hose (30).

21. Install the fuel vapor recovery system hose (29).

22. Install the solenoid control valve induction coil (28).

23. Install the fuel vapor recovery system feed hose (27).

24. Install the fuel vapor recovery system tank (26).

25. Install the fuel vapor recovery system hose (25).



26. Install the fuel vapor recovery system feed hose (24).

27. Connect the vacuum tube (23).

28. Connect the fuel evaporation control system hose connection (22).

29. Install the fuel evaporation control system hose (21).

30. Install the fuel evaporation control system chamber (20).

31. Install the fuel evaporation control system hose (19).

32. Install the vacuum hose connection (18).

33. Connect the injector wiring connector (right side) (17).

34. Connect the combined connector of the control wiring and the injector wiring (right side) (16).

35. Install the wiring bracket (15).

36. Install the wiring clamp (14).

37. Install the grounding cable (13).

38. Connect the injector wiring connector (left side) (12).

39. Connect the combined connector of the control wiring and the injector wiring (left side) (11).

40. Connect the knock sensor wiring connector (10).

41. Connect the combined connector of the control wiring and the knock sensor wiring (9).

42. Connect the solenoid control valve induction coil connector (8).

43. Install the noise absorber (7).

44. Connect the noise absorber connector (6).

45. Install the sealing ring (5).

46. Install the intake manifold absolute pressure sensor (4).

47. Connect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector (3).

48. Install the solenoid control valve (2).

49. Connect the solenoid control valve connector (1).

50. Install the valve and pipe of the engine exhaust gas recirculation system.

51. Install the throttle body.

52. Install the engine cover.

53. Install the air filter.



54. Fill the engine with coolant.

55. Check the fuel system for fuel leaks.

Model with 4M4 engine



Note: When installing, tighten all bolts to the torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the intake manifold gasket (17).

2. Install the intake manifold assembly (16).

3. Install the retainer (15).

4. Install the spring (14).

5. Connect the vacuum hose connection (13).

6. Install the electrical wiring bracket (12).

7. Install the fuel feed pipe assembly, fuel injection pipe, fuel rail and fuel pipe bracket.

8. Install the wiring bracket (11).

9. Install the wiring bracket (10).

10. Install the gasket (9).

11. Install the air inlet tube (8).

12. Install the wiring bracket (7).

13. Install the gasket (6).

14. Install intake air temperature sensor No. 2 (5).

15. Install the fuel return pipe B (4).

16. Install the vacuum tube assembly (3).

17. Install the vacuum hose (2).

18. Connect the control wiring connection (1).

19. Install the valve and pipe of the engine exhaust gas recirculation system.

20. Install the throttle body.

21. Install the engine cover.
