Model with 6G7 engine



1. Reduce the fuel pressure in the fuel line.

2. Drain the coolant.

3. Remove the air filter assembly.

4. Remove the throttle body.

5. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve.



6. Disconnect the solenoid control valve connector (1).

7. Remove the solenoid control valve (2).

8. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector (3).

9. Remove the intake manifold absolute pressure sensor (4).

10. Remove the sealing ring (5).

11. Disconnect the noise absorber connector (6).

12. Remove the noise absorber (7).

13. Disconnect the solenoid control valve induction coil connector (8).

14. Disconnect the combined control wiring harness and knock sensor wiring harness connector (9).

15. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring connector (10).

16. Disconnect the combined connector of the control wiring and the injector wiring (left side) (11).

17. Disconnect the injector wiring connector (left side) (12).

18. Remove the ground cable (13).

19. Remove the electrical wiring clamp (14).

20. Remove the wiring bracket (15).



21. Disconnect the combined connector of the control wiring and the injector wiring (right side) (16).

22. Disconnect the injector wiring connector (right side) (17).

23. Remove the vacuum hose connection (18).

24. Remove the fuel evaporation control system hose (19).

25. Remove the fuel evaporation control system chamber (20).

26. Remove the fuel evaporation control system hose (21).

27. Disconnect the fuel evaporation control system hose connection (22).

28. Disconnect the vacuum tube (23).

29. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system feed hose (24).

30. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system hose (25).

31. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system tank (26).

32. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system feed hose (27).

33. Remove the solenoid control valve induction coil (28).

34. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system hose (29).

35. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system hose (30).

36. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose connector (31).

37. Remove the fuel vapor recovery system tube (32).

38. Remove the engine exhaust gas recirculation tube assembly (33).

39. Remove the engine exhaust gas recirculation system tube gasket (34).

40. Remove the equalizing tank stand (35).

41. Remove the expansion tank (36).

42. Remove the expansion tank gasket (37).

43. Remove the air inlet equalizing tank (38).

44. Remove the S gasket of the intake manifold rotary valve (39).

45. Remove the gasket P of the intake manifold rotary valve (40).

46. Remove the wiring bracket (41).



47. Disconnect the high pressure fuel hose connector (42).



48. Disconnect the cooling line hose connection (43).

49. Disconnect the coolant line hose connection (44).

50. Disconnect the injector connector (45).

51. Remove the high pressure hose, fuel distribution pipe and injectors as an assembly (46).

52. Disconnect the lubrication system tube connection (47).

53. Remove the intake manifold (48).

54. Remove the intake manifold gasket (49).

Model with 4M4 engine



1. Remove the engine cover.

2. Remove the throttle body.

3. Remove the valve and pipe of the engine exhaust gas recirculation system.



4. Disconnect the control wiring connection (1).

5. Remove the vacuum hose (2).

6. Remove the vacuum tube assembly (3).

7. Remove the fuel return pipe B (4).

8. Remove intake air temperature sensor No. 2 (5).

9. Remove the gasket (6).

10. Remove the wiring bracket (7).

11. Remove the air inlet tube (8).

12. Remove the gasket (9).

13. Remove the wiring bracket (10).

14. Remove the wiring bracket (11).

15. Remove the fuel feed pipe assembly, fuel injection pipe, fuel rail and fuel pipe bracket.

15. Remove the wiring bracket (12).

17. Disconnect the vacuum hose connection (13).

18. Remove the spring (14).



19. Remove the retainer (15).

20. Remove the intake manifold assembly (16).

21. Remove the intake manifold gasket (17).
