Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the torques shown in the figure.
1. Install the rear suspension cross beam bushings.
2. Install the rear differential mounting crossmember (12).
3. Install the dynamic damper (11).
4. Install the fuel tank.
5. Install the oil seal on the differential side (10).
1) Install the oil seal on the differential side using the special tool MB991168.
6. Install the differential cup assembly (9).
7. Tighten the differential mounting bolt (8).
8. Connect the hose connection (vehicle with rear differential lock) (7).
9. Connect the electrical wiring connector (vehicle with rear differential lock) (6).
10. Install the nipple (5).
11. Install the vacuum hose assembly (4).
12. Install the steering rod (3).
13. Connect the steering knuckle and lower suspension arm joint (2).
1) Compress the coil spring using a floor jack and tighten the lower arm mounting bolt.
14. Connect the cardan shaft joint (1).
15. Install the drive shaft.
16. Fill the differential with oil.
