1. Install the ring clamp (10).

2. Install the Birfeld CV joint (EBJ) (9).

3. Install the twin CV joint "DOJ" (7).

1) Install the housing of the dual CV joint "DOJ" on the drive shaft and move it towards the CV joint "Bierfeld" (EBJ).

2) Align the timing marks on the inner ring of the dual CV joint "DOJ" with the timing marks on the drive shaft.

3) Install the inner ring of the dual CV joint "DOJ" on the drive shaft using a special tool MB990939.

4. Install the spring ring (6).

5. Install the outer ring of the dual CV joint "DOJ" (4).

1) Apply grease to the inner surface of the outer ring of the dual CV joint "DOJ" and the boot of the dual CV joint "DOJ".

Amount of grease: 275±10 g.

Caution: Do not secure the large boot clamp.


2) Install the ring clamp on the outer ring of the DOJ joint. Place the DOJ joint boot on the outer ring of the DOJ joint, and then secure the boot with the small boot clamp.



6. Install the dust cover (5).



7. Install the ring clamp (3).

8. Install the dual CV joint boot "DOJ" (8).

9. Install the small clamp of the dual CV joint boot "DOJ" (2).

10. Install the large clamp of the dual CV joint boot "DOJ" (1).

Note: Install the clamps of the protective boots of the twin CV joint at the appropriate distance from each other (to ensure the required volume of air inside the cover), and then tighten the clamps securely.


Nominal value A: 97±3 mm.
