Removal the steering knuckle (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Remove the rear hub assembly.



2. Remove the rear vehicle height sensor and disconnect the upper suspension arm connection (1).

3. Remove the wheel speed sensor (2).

4. Unscrew the lock nut (3).

5. Disconnect the steering knuckle and tie rod end connection (4).

Caution: Use a special tool to loosen the nut. The nut should be loosened, but not completely removed. To prevent the puller from slipping off, it is necessary to first tie it with a cord or wire.




6. Disconnect the steering knuckle and towing rod connection (5).

7. Remove the pin (6).

8. Disconnect the steering knuckle and upper suspension arm connection (7).

Caution: Use a special tool to loosen the nut. The nut should be loosened, but not completely removed. To prevent the puller from slipping off, it is necessary to first tie it with a cord or wire.






9. Remove the steering knuckle, rear hub assembly and support plate (8).

10. Remove the rear hub assembly (9).

11. Remove the support plate (10).

12. Remove the steering knuckle (11).
