Removal
1. Unscrew the nut securing the hub to the axle shaft.
2. Raise the car and remove the wheel. Remove the brake caliper and hang it on a piece of wire.
4.3 Unscrew the two nuts and bolts securing the steering knuckle to the strut (indicated by arrows) - knock out the bolts if necessary
3. Loosen, but do not remove, the bolts and nuts securing the steering knuckle to the suspension strut (4.3).
4. Disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
5. Disconnect the ball joint from the steering knuckle. Remove the bolts and nuts securing the knuckle to the suspension strut.
6. Remove the steering knuckle and hub from the vehicle. Hang the end of the axle shaft on a wire.
Installation
7. Install the steering knuckle and hub into place and insert the axle shaft into the hub.

8. Install the steering knuckle onto the hub stand, install the mounting bolts and nuts, but do not tighten them completely yet.
9. Insert the ball joint tail into the pivot pin hole and tighten the fastening nut.
10. Connect the tie rod end. Tighten all bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
11. Install the brake caliper.
12. Install the hub-to-axle shaft mounting nut and tighten it securely.
13. Install the wheel and lower the car to the ground.
14. Tighten the hub-to-axle shaft mounting nut to the required tightening torque.
