Front seat belts



Removal


  • Remove the front and rear door sill trim.
  • Remove the lower center pillar trim.
  • Remove the upper seat belt guide cover by pulling it towards you (Fig. 17.101).

  • Remove the bolt and the upper seat belt guide.
  • Remove the bolts and seat belt tensioner mechanism.
  • Remove the upper center pillar trim.
  • Remove the bolts and adjust the seat belt mounting bracket from the center pillar.
  • Remove the front seat.
  • Remove the screws and remove the inner cover of the front seat.
  • Remove the bolt and seat belt buckle.

Installation


  • The front seat belt is installed in the reverse order of removal.

Rear seat belts



Removal


  • Remove the rear seat
  • Unscrew the bolts and remove the central seat belt (Fig. 17.102).

  • Remove the bolt and the center seat belt buckle (three-point).
  • Remove the bolt and seat belt buckle.
  • Remove the lower trim of the rear pillar.
  • Remove the seat belt guide cover by pulling it towards you.
  • Remove the bolts and remove the rear seat belt.
  • Remove the screws and remove the seat belt cover.
  • Remove the screws securing the rear seat center seat belt tensioner (three-point) and remove the belt.

Installation


  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
