Central console (Mitsubishi Space Star)

Removal

• Pull up to remove the tray from the floor console (Fig. 17.90).

• Remove the parking brake lever trim.
• Remove the gear shift knob.
• Remove the gear shift lever cover.
• Remove the ashtray.
• Remove the front console box.
• Remove the coin compartment.
• Remove the seat heater switch and disconnect the electrical connector from it.
• Remove the screws securing the front part of the floor console.
• Remove the screws securing the rear of the floor console to the bracket.
• Remove the console by lifting it up.

Installation

• Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
